How BuildersCalc.Pro handles your data - and what we do not collect.
This privacy policy applies to BuildersCalc.Pro (the "Site"), a free online construction material calculator service. When we refer to "we", "us", or "our" in this policy, we mean BuildersCalc.Pro.
This policy explains what information is collected when you use the Site, how it is used, and what rights you have under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
BuildersCalc.Pro does not collect any personal data directly. There are no account registrations, contact forms, newsletter sign-ups, or any other mechanism through which you submit personal information to us.
The measurements, dimensions, and figures you enter into our calculators are processed entirely within your browser and are never transmitted to our servers.
If you use the My Projects feature to save calculator results, that data is stored in your browser's local storage - a technology similar to cookies but which does not transmit data across the internet. Your project data remains on your device and is never sent to BuildersCalc.Pro or any third party.

The Site loads the Roboto Condensed typeface from Google Fonts. When your browser requests a font file, Google's servers receive your IP address and browser information as part of a standard HTTP request. We have configured this to load asynchronously so it does not block page rendering. Google's privacy policy applies to any data collected through this request.
BuildersCalc.Pro does not set any cookies of its own. Google Analytics sets cookies as described in Section 4 above. No other third-party cookies are used on this Site.
Your currency preference is stored in your browser's local storage (not a cookie) and remains on your device.
Where any personal data is processed (such as IP address data collected via Google Analytics), our legal basis under UK GDPR is our legitimate interest in understanding how the Site is used in order to improve it. This interest is balanced against your rights and is limited to anonymised, aggregated analytics data only.
